Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Introduction

At CalorieHabit we believe the information and tools on this site should be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We have worked to make the site meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA.

Accessibility features

  • The site adapts to every screen size: desktop, tablet and mobile.
  • You can navigate the site with the keyboard (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter and Esc), and the focused element is marked with a clear outline.
  • Every page starts with a "Skip to content" link that jumps straight to the main content.
  • The page language and text direction are set in the code (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right), and content is organized with headings.
  • Content images have alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Form fields in the calculator and the contact form are linked to their labels.
  • The site respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.

Accessibility menu

A blue accessibility button sits on the right edge of every page. It opens a menu where you can enlarge the text (two levels), turn on high contrast or grayscale, highlight links, switch to a readable font, stop animations and enlarge the mouse cursor. Your settings are saved in your browser for future visits and can be reset at any time.

Supported browsers

The site is intended for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.

Known limitations

  • Third-party ads and content may be served by external services, and we do not have full control over their accessibility.
  • Links to external websites lead to sites whose accessibility is the responsibility of their owners.
  • Some pages may still contain components that are not yet fully accessible. We keep improving the site on an ongoing basis.

Found a problem?

If you come across something that is not accessible or have difficulty using the site, please let us know through our contact page. It helps to mention the page, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you used. We will handle your request as soon as possible.
